I Am Kali

Kali watermark and blog size

As I gently touch my face to the blue skin of Kali,

I release a pattern

I lessen a firm belief

I shift a perception

I widen a boundary.

I feel the sacred in others more clearly.

I feel the sacred in me.

I Am Kali is 24×24”, acrylic paint on plywood with tulle, beads and found objects. Price: $250 – contact me if interested.
Completed 2015 as part of the Decade of Reweaving show. The original Kali mixed-media oil painting upon which this piece is based may be found here.
