    I’ve been getting up before daybreak these past few weeks. There’s something holy in the winter dark. It all feels deeper – my pondering more profound, more still and real. Clarity. Honesty. Trust. My flickering candle. The glowing dots on my teacup warmer. My laptop screen, brightness at its lowest for my still-dreaming eyes. Stunning portals. Peace.
